London Borough of Bromley
Orpington is located in the Borough of Bromley in South East Greater London. It is bordered by Locksbottom, Chislehurst, Sidcup, and Pratts Bottom. Orpington has some of the best schools in the area and is surrounded by great open spaces and parks.

- Priory Gardens dates back to Medieval times.
- ‘The Orpington Car’ enjoyed brief fame in the 1920s, although it couldn’t compete with mass production and there are no known surviving examples in existence.
- Crofton Roman Villa was discovered in 1926. Located next to the station, this 20 room country house was occupied from 140AD to 400AD. Upon excavation, a trove of coins, pottery shards, tiles, and animal remains was found.

The Walnut Leisure Centre – Features a six-lane swimming pool, gym, fitness classes, and a soft play area for kids
Canadian Corner – A section of All Saints’ Church. It is a First World War Memorial which marks where the 182 soldiers who died being treated at Orpington Hospital are buried. 88 of those soldiers were Canadian, hence the name

Orpington High Street features a wide variety of high street shops. There is also a market three days a week. The main supermarkets are Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Marks and Spencer. Nugent shopping centre features a variety of shops and restaurants.
