Borough of Southwark
Peckham Rye is located in the London Borough of Southwark, and it is bordered by East Dulwich, Camberwell, Forest Hill, Brockley, New Cross and Bermondsey. It was voted by The Sunday Times' as the most desirable place to live in London 2017. A £290m re-generation plan took place in the early 2000s.

Bellenden Road has many nice independent shops and restaurants and is a nice area away from the centre of Peckham. Rye Lane hosts many fruit and vegetable shops, general stores and more. Aylesham Shopping Centre is in Peckham town centre has many shops including a Morrisons and shopping arcade.

Properties
Housing in the area is mostly a mixture of Victorian and Georgian terraced housing with post-war ex-local authority blocks built mainly in bomb sites. There are also many newly built apartment blocks. Some sought after areas include Holly Grove conservation area, Nunhead Village, Peckham North, and Peckham Rye.
