Having taken some initial advice from us and our local estate agency office on likely values in the area, our clients acquired and subsequently obtained planning permission for the redevelopment of this former car mechanics site located close by to Dartford Town Centre. Consent was granted for the construction of a block of 11 flats with some accompanying ground floor commercial space.

We undertook a high profile marketing campaign with two complimentary aims in mind. One was to ensure as many likely buyers for a property of this nature were able to see our marketing details and two, to use the interest generated to ensure that we maximised the value of the property for our clients.

Both aims were achieved as our marketing managed to obtain 70+ enquiries, 15 offers and an eventual sale price at £750,000 to a local developer. The sale price achieved was full price when you consider that the buyer also has to pay c. £200,000 in CIL (development tax) to Dartford Council on top.
