Caterham-based developers Ruskin Homes specialise in niche, high quality projects in good locations, and the Land & Strategic Property Division have recently helped Ruskin acquire a stereotypical site in Maidstone.

The plot, which is currently occupied by a single detached home, was secured by way of a conditional contract, and a planning application submitted for the construction of a scheme of apartments.

Following an initial planning refusal and unsuccessful appeal, Ruskin Homes were granted consent at local level for seven 1 bedroom and seven 2 bedroom flats.

Completion was deferred to allow the previous owners sufficient time to find a new home, and with a full build programme for 2008 and early 2009, Ruskin have tucked the property safely away in their land bank to be developed at a later date.
