Following the successful acquisition of a substantial investment property for Rock Investments, it became apparent that the former owners had another asset that they were mindful to sell.

The investment comprised two substantial freehold buildings in the busy leisure precincts of Manchester and Swansea. The buildings in total provide in excess of 61,000 sq ft of accommodation and are both let to the Walkabout pub chain (Regent Inns Plc).

The owners were impressed with the reliability of both Acorn and our clients and, following our appraisal of the investments, terms were agreed. Once again Rock exchanged contracts promptly and completed the purchase shortly thereafter. Rock intend to employ an active management strategy to increase the value of the investment.
