Sydenham High Street is experiencing somewhat of a resurgence and the sale of the former antiques centre continued this trend.
Planning permission existed for the redevelopment of the site to create 14 flats and a large commercial unit.
Surrey based construction company Buxton Homes had a requirement for such a site, and once some title issue had been resolved, contracts were exchanged.
Construction is well underway and whilst Acorn's New Homes Division are busy selling the apartments, our Commercial Division are advising in respect of the retail unit. A blue chip tenant is expected to take occupancy, further enhancing the High Street.
